Suzanne Peterson-Warr - 2023 ECGC speaker
Narrative/Author,
Contract

Suzanne Peterson-Warr is an author, narrative designer, and up and coming game designer, as well as developmental editor. As an author she primarily writes middle-grade fantasy, but she’s also published a dozen short science fiction and fantasy stories aimed at grownups. Because apparently one name is not enough, she’s published two novels and a novella in romantic suspense under her Lily Black pseudonym. Additionally, she worked as a developmental editor for Red Adept Publishing, where she helped to edit and shepherd several books onto national best seller lists. Since the 2020 shutdown, she’s begun developing her own games, first as class projects through Wake Tech’s game design program and now as an indie developer. Her first short mini game—Dragon Smash--is available to play on itch.io, and she’s developing it into a longer game which she plans to release on Steam in spring of 2024. For the past year she’s also worked professionally as a game writer and narrative designer.
