UI/UX Design Intern

From a young age Dylan has always been motivated to learn and try new things that interested him. When he was 8 years old he began learning magic and the art of sleight of hand. Almost 13 years later he still performs on a regular basis as a semi-professional magician at private events. At the age of 12 Dylan began to teach himself how to code JavaScript based modifications for the popular game “Minecraft” and with that knowledge he coded and ran a fairly popular multiplayer online server for a number of years. Around that same time he received a Baby Taylor Acoustic Guitar for Christmas and began, through the power of YouTube and other online resources, to teach himself how to play and sing a myriad of his favorite songs. Dylan has always been known to be a jack-of-all-trades, tirelessly pursuing new and exciting ventures as well as continuing to perfect the various skills I have picked up over the years.

One of his foremost passions has been the field of Graphic Design. He began by creating various graphic images for his own personal uses, but quickly found that he greatly enjoyed working in logo design. He describes being able to listen to his clients needs, create an artwork that fits those exact needs, and see how excited they were to begin using his work in their business as “downright euphoric, both for myself and my clients”.

Having worked with such programs as WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop Dylan has found that creating seamless and intuitive experiences for his audience is really one of his greatest passions. The psychology behind the click or what drives users to behave in a certain way is very exciting to him. As a magician Dylan has always been intrigued by how the human mind works and how it can be manipulated or influenced into behaving in a particular manner. He hopes to use this experience and mindset to bolster his future career in the UI/UX design field.
