A prototype can be a powerful tool if used correctly. We’ll discuss what situations call for prototyping, setting goals for productive prototypes, and steps to ensure those goals are met. We’ll also explore the idea of prototypes being more than just the “first draft” of a game, what to prioritize in the process, and the common pitfalls many developers run into while prototyping.
