Narrative Director for Epic Games
Brian Kindregan is the Narrative Director of Epic Games. Before coming to Epic, he worked at Blizzard Entertainment, where he was Lead Writer on Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. He also worked at BioWare as a senior writer on Mass Effect 2 and Jade Empire.
Prior to games, Brian was a storyboard artist in the film industry. He worked for Warner Bros., Disney, Sony Imageworks, Cartoon Network, Universal, and others. He graduated from California Institute of the Arts.
Brian is also a frequent lecturer and teacher. He taught game narrative at University of California, Irvine, and visual storytelling at Laguna College of Art and Design, and at California Institute of the Arts. He has lectured at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, GDC, GDC Europe, GDC China, GDC Taipei Summit, and Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem.
