The East Coast Game Conference, the largest gathering of video game professionals on the east coast, returns for its Ninth time.

The focus of the conference is to provide video game developers an engaging program and opportunities for networking and collaboration. Building off of the great success in 2016, ECGC is bring back the community day on Tuesday 18th. It focuses on the community, families and others that are interested in seeing what the industry is about and what jobs opportunities there are in the industry.

Raleigh’s East Coast Game Conferences announced John Romero as the keynote speaker for their annual event at the Raleigh Convention Center April 18-20, 2017. Romero is an award-winning game designer, developer and programmer. He is best known as the co-founder of id Software and is credited with the iconic games Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM and Quake. His work in mobile, hardcore, mid-core, casual and MMO space spans over 35 years and includes 107 commercially published titles.

ECGC’s Indie Game Competition

ECGC partners with Casual Connect to offer ECGC’s first ever Indie Game Awards. Indie Prize is a scholarship and competition focused on the up and coming creative force of the industry.
